How long should we wait in line....??

okay.

so me and 2 of my friends are going to get up really early on may 17 to go and buy american idol summer tour tickets.. but we dont know how long we should wait.were planning in standing in line for like 5 hours..getting there by 5am. & the tickets go on sale @ 10am. is 5 hours enough time.. we want to get the BEST tickets possible. we are planning on buying them in grand rapids, michigan..so you can get an idea of the population there...

or should we just buy them online

??

we realy need some advice from some people who have expierenced buying tickets for something extremely popular...

A while ago I stood in line for tickets... maybe about 4 hours before they were being sold and there was a mile long line already in front of us. We asked around and some people had been there 15-20 hours ahead of time. I guess it all depends on how popular the band is and I'm guessing American Idol tickets will go fast. I would say 5 hours is not enough time... maybe more like 8-10? Good luck though
