How long should you stay in a hostel?

I'm thinking about crashing in one next semester. How long before I go crazy? I'm a pretty tough dude

it depends upon your room mates, may be they or their activities irritate you...

yeah, a couple of days would do a person in.

depends on your personality ... if you're a dominant leader sort of person you'll take charge of the dorm and set the tone

if you're more of a loner you could be more enigmatic, defend your own patch vigorously but leave everyone else to their own devices

if you're anywhere in between those two you will probably find it quite uncomfortable
