How long should you wait to get in a pool if you have just put super water clarifier in it ?

I put clarifier in pool but it dosen't say it is safe to get in pool afterwards is this safe ? does anyone know

I would not get into the pool until the water appears clear (meaning that the clarifier worked) which, from what I remember from hearing other people talk about their swimming pools, takes 24 hours.  I would wait this long myself, though, to be sure.  Also, my memory says that a pool should not be used for a full 3 days after putting shock (a different pool chemical) into the pool.

  3. Clarifier is non toxic and will not harm you. You can swim immediately after adding. As to everyone else's comments about shocking. Test your chlorine levels a couple hours after shocking. If there is a large amount of organic debris in the pool most of the chlorine will be used up right away and you may be able to swim. If you dont have a test kit then you should wait 12-24 hours.

  4. if you have not super shocked in the last 24 hours it's o.k. to go swimming. clarifier will not harm you.
