Not selling pegs, but have seen English Romany women (I think that's probably the right construction) offering small dried heather posies (which is what they've always sold down our way) in Ilford outside Monsoon in the High Street, last week, saying 'Be lucky!"

I've never taken one as i've always understood that, once you take the spray, they'll demand money and if you don't give it to them, they'll curse you.   Maybe this is not true but I've never taken one in case!

about a month ago she came to my door, i told her no and she wouldn't let me shut the door, she was trying to force some tea towels on me, it was a 3 pack worth about 3 pounds and she was trying to sell them for 2 pounds each, rip off!!! haha
