How long tell i get my drivers license?

ok so i got my permit at the end of june and i was 16 and i turned 17 on july 3rd. so how long do i have to wait to get my drivers license. is it 6monts.

It depends on the state you are in as too what restrictions you might have; but obviously you need to take the final written and driving tests. The permit and your age have nothing to do with it any more.

You would get your license the year after you received your learners permit. Some states make you wait two years but most that i know of you can get a year after you received your permit. It should say on your permit the day you received it so then just put 2008 at the end. However DID YOU KNOW: you can drive to school with your learners permit only if you drive to school and back, otherwise you can have your permit taken away.
