  1. my doctor said 7 days.

and that is what my pill package sheets have said.

i've taken three types of pills.

    keriva

    ortho tricyclen

and seasonelle and they all say that you are protected from pregnancy after 7 days of use.

  2. After a month of taking it properly you should be all set, but if you are sexually active, use a condom anyway!

  3. The best birth control is nfp - natural family planning; does not pollute your body with chemicals and you get to know your own fertility signs;  it is 100% safe and just as effective, if not more so - because if you abstain when you are ovulating; you will not get pregnant.

You can still get pregnant while you are on the pill; you have to be careful to take the medicine as directed, and even then - you have to be aware that it can still happen. Condoms are only 70% effective in guarding against pregnancy; they have naturally occuring holes in the laytex and are easily compromised when heated like when left in a pant pocket or in the sun.

  4. not till 3 months

  5. Well, they usually say 7 days on the package, and that is what my doctor said too.  But i have read other places to be safe and wait a month.  But as for the side effects, those take about three months to go away.  Within the first three months your body needs to get used to the pills.  So that is why the side effects can be there that long.  But as for getting pregnant, i know it says wait seven days, but I would wait a month.  i have read that multiple places.
