How long til i get them off!?

hey guys. i was wondering if any of you had any prior experience with braces that would provide me with an answer. okay so about a month ago a got a power chain in to close the gap that my braces had caused. now i have gotten the power chain off. anyone been through this before? if so, when did you end up getting your braces off? anytime soon? please? i'm 13 if that matters.

First off, you're lucky you got them at 13.  I'm 17 and never had them.  Anywho, it all depends on how bad your teeth were to begin with I guess. Definitely not up into senior year, which is the only year that matter, anyways(yearbooks, prom, etc).  Don't think any longer than two years, and probably no sooner than 3-6 months.

It all depends on how good the braces work.  Some take longer than others to get the teeth into place.  I had mine on for 4 years, just keep seeing your orthodontist to make sure things are on track.
