How long till he asks?

My boyfriend took me to look at engagement rings today so he would know which one I would like. So now I am all excited but I don't know when he will actually ask me. How long do you think he will wait?

I'm so eager now :)

Usually they ask, then take you to see the rings.  Did you pick one out?  If he doesn't ask soon, just ask him what his plans are.  Usually guys who take their girls to see engagement rings actually intend to ask them to marry fairly soon, so it shouldn't scare him off if you ask.

If you intend to marry the guy, you have to be comfortable discussing everything with him.

It really depends on him - but I know  how you feel. My husband pulled me into a jewelry store to look at rings. I was so excited - but it was 8 months before he proposed. It was really hard waiting because I kept wondering, "Will he ask me today?"

Maybe sooner than you think if he now knows which ring you like !

Every man has his own way of proposing so unless you are like me and have to know everything, you should wait until the time comes.

he'll askk when he wants to.  He could do it right away, he could wait for a special day (anniversary, birthday etc?) is one of those coming up soon?  He could also just wait a few weeks to plan the perfect way to ask.

I did not let my fiance know what she was getting because i felt it would ruin the surprise. It is all about you tho remember that so if you feel he is procrastinating then make it obvious that you love him and expect him to ask you if he is going to get your hopes up by showing you rings. Remember its gonna be about the thought not the ring.
