seriously by say, this time next year, there will be a new bunch of in the closet g*y guys for little american teenager girls to obsess over.

even nsync and backstreet boys lasted longer than the jonas brothers will. but the thing with the jobros is they dont appeal to a very large audience, nsync for example, had fans of every single race, every age, from all over the world.

jonas brothers...not so much.

Nick though, being the only one who can write, sing, and play, will probably break off from the band and be succesful doing more mature songs.

It's kind of funny really, "boy bands" and "teen idols" used to have real talent and run their own careers, and continue to be successful.... Beatles, Rolling Stones obviously. Duran Duran & Bon Jovi are still selling out worldwide tours and millions of albums and are actually very savvy businessmen. It's when boy bands became manufactured that they became so flash in the pan. It started with Menudo, which flopped after people caught on. Then Backstreet Boys, N Sync, 5ive, New Kids On The Block, which lasted a few years. Now it's even faster. These people just do as their told, say what they're told, are assigned personalities, and are placed together by a manager. When you throw a bunch of strangers (or siblings) together and force them to be together 24/7 personalities clash. Then the jealousy comes out between them, etc etc.

Again, the bands above such as Duran Duran and Bon Jovi are tight because they started out as friends and share a passion for music. It makes all the difference when you WANT to be together.
