How long till the tree huggers lose their power?

Question

Global warming has given tree huggers around the world to push their agenda onto everyone around the world. How long do you think it will take for the majority of people to finally say, "Global warming is fake!" and make all the tree huggers fade away. I just don't know when this bandwagon will end.

I see studies coming out more and more disproving global warming, yet there are others that keep "proving" it's existence.

You're take? Does all of this start to blow over after a few more years?

I don't think the problem is global warming. The disputed fact is what is causing it. The Earth has it's own regulatory methods that have served it well for about 5 billion years, it's arrogant in the extreme to think that we can alter nature in any significant way.

I think a lot of people know global warming is a crock but until we all start standing up against it, it will continue.  It was really cold this winter so they created the recession to keep us all in check.

What studies?  Who did these studies?  Where were they published?  Who reviewed them?  If you see "more and more" of them, then these should be reasonable questions.  After all, you are the one making the claim that goes against the vast majority of scientific opinion, so you are the one who must offer evidence of your claim.

Most of the people who are against global warming have no reasons for their position, other than "I can't believe it."  Well, if you're not a climate scientist, then no one really need care what you believe or don't believe.  Most people find relativity to be unbelievable, but that also doesn't matter.  Science is not determined by mass appeal.

Finally, I have no idea what you think a bunch of scientists stand to gain by lying in their studies.  They don't make much money, they don't have much power, and they don't stand to gain either one by lying about their work.

Years? I hope not. It's now becoming trendy to be "green" and to care about our environment. Like any trend, I see this one fading real soon.
