Question:

How long to charge a Craftsman electric start walk behind mower?

No help at the sears website. Craftsman 6.5 electric start, self-propelled, walk behind mower, 22" cutting. It's about 1 years old.

I cant remember if its 2,12 or 24 hours.

  1. i was a road tech for several years. we used to tell people to leave it on charge for a day. ( that is if you are using the battery charger that came with the unit) if it starts fine in that regard, just do that.  those batteries were never very good (in my opinion). for those who seem to always end up with a dead battery, i used to tell them  " when you are done mowing, plug it in and leave it until you mow again.  those mowers do have a small charging coil to help recharge the battery while you are mowing, but they are not very reliable.  hope this helps some.  just dont leave it charging any longer than you have to.  a little trial and error will help you figure that out. but you wont hurt anything in my opinion.  IKE
