How long to cook a foil pack...

Question

Foil packs for donner tomorrow night. They will have ground meat, potatoes (plantains for my fiance), onions, butter and seasonings in them. My question is, how long do I cook them in the OVEN. We are no fun, I know. But I'm craving one...lol

The potatoes tend to take longer, depending on how large they are cut.  Preheat the oven to 425 and bake for about 25 minutes.  If you can pierce the potatoes easily, they are done.  It should not take longer than 40 minutes.

I cook them at 250 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. Also we add a little cream of mushroom soup and carrots & a little bit of mushrooms (with everything you are adding) don't forget to spray the foil first with pam or everything will stick to the bottom.

Foil dinners heat at 400 degrees 15 to 20 minutes Slice the potatoes thin.
