How long to ps3 updates take?

because its been about 10-15 minutes and its only at %15. does it all depend on how fast your internet is?

The PS3 firmware updates are about 130mb so it's not exactly a big file. However, how fast you get this does depends on your speed but also depends on how busy their servers are. You are bascially forced to download any new updates otherwise you can't use your PS3 online so there could be hundreds of thousands, if not millions downloading updates all at once and that can slow things down.

it does depend on the speed of your internet but normally it takes about 25 minuites after it updates and installs i hate waiting too
