How long to ship an item??

Question

Bought a dress from China and it's being shipped to the USA (Indiana) Anyone had experience as to how long it's going to take to get here? My tracking with USPS says it left SHANGHAI, CHINA PEOPLES REP. on July 31, 2008. I need it for a wedding! Thanks in advance

It depends on how it was shipped.  If it was shipped surface mail it will take up to six weeks to get it.  I think the best possible scenario would be about two weeks if you paid to have it sent by air.  It also depends on how long it gets held up in customs.

Shipping from China can take a number of days especially if it's declared via customs. You're looking at a week to a week and a half at best, up to a month possibly.
