How long to these certificatins last?

Question

for lifeguarding i know you need first aid, cpr and lifeguarding certs.

how long do each last? i thought first aid and cpr were 2 yrs, and lifeguarding was 3 yrs, but the dates on all my certs are all 2 yrs

It depends on who you certify through.  Red Cross is 3 years for lifeguarding and 1 year for both CPR and First Aid.

If you have questions about your certifications you should contact the issuing organization (it should be listed on the card)

CPR is typically a one year deal, where lifeguarding first aid can vary from 1-3

maybe lifegaurds come when the person decides you should have a higher job.

ACTUALLLY!...if you are certified by the red cross the lifeguarding and first aid are on the same certificate and it lasts 3 years, while the CPR lasts one year
