How long to wait before drinking through a straw after a tooth extraction?

i got my tooth extracted about 48 hours ago when can drink through a straw and eat normal again?

i would wait and ask your dentist at your recheck- you can still get a dry socket NOT FUN!

you can eat normal when you feel up to it.

Be careful with those straws! If your tooth pain persists, you may have dry socket (basically the suction of the straw pulled the blood clot out of the empty socket and it's become infected.)
