How long to wait to make an appt. with an ob?

dos everyone think it is ok to wait until i am 3 months to make an appt. with my ob. and has anyone during pregnancy had very painful gass but then you dont have to pass gas. anyways thanks

wait around to the ending of ur 2nd month..that wat i did=) i got a pic of baby when she was 7 weeks!

There are a lot of reasons for making an appointment ASAP, they can determine how far along you actually are, they can advise you to take nutritional supplements that you may need (even when you thing you are completely healthy), they test you for AIDS and any kind of STD that can be harmful, and lots of things that corrected at the very beginning can avoid complications in the future, like for instance your blood type and HR factor. Please don't wait so long, for your own well being and most important for your baby's.

I wouldn't wait until 3 months..just call and get in as soon as possible. And yes I have had painful gas.

Go as soon as 6 weeks that's what I did, prenatal care is very important because the first trimester is the most dangerous for ur babys development if anything goes wrong. Gas is common in pregnant women but if u see a problem go get urself checked in with ur ob. =)

You need to make an appointment with an OB as soon as you find out that you are pregnant.  Early prenatal care is extremely important.  And yes, painful gas is one of the discomforts of pregnancy.

You need to make a appt. sooner than 3 months. They usually wanna see you around 7 weeks. So call for the babies sake.

you need to make an appointment right when you find out your pregnant. this way you'll be in doctors hands and he'll get you on a prenatal vitamin to get you healthy. dont wait. its not worth it.

dont know about the gas thing (im still ttc number 1)
