How long until a baby budgie will leave its nest?

they leave their nest box after about 4 weeks

All of our chicks left the box after about 3 weeks. It can range from 3-7 weeks, depending on the parents, the chicks, and the environment.

Generally 4-5 weeks the chicks will leave the nest, but they usually aren't weaned for about a week after this.

I've had some chicks still in the nest at 6-7 weeks old though, so it does vary and there is no set rule.

Single or small clutch chicks tend to fledge and wean faster...I think due to having the parents undivided attention.
