I've heard of MMArtists (Anderson Silva) challenging Pro Boxers under Boxing rules But I never heard of a Pro Boxer challenging a MMArtist under MMA rules.

  1. MMA sucks.........

  2. When will an MMA fighter step into the boxing ring with a boxer? The answer? NEVER. They would be out of their element, just as a boxer would be in an MMA ring. Why would any boxer want to make MMA chump change anyway? It makes no sense either way you slice it.

  3. it will happen! but when it does its not like my boxing brothers are gonna get KOd !!! they might get tapped out but not KOd......  no big deal.

  4. Like seriously dude, when will all the mma fans stick to their sport and leave the grand one for the boxers leave us alone man, perios boxers would outdo any mma artist in a pure boxing style match, as for ******* mma, boxers are boxers wtf would the use a ******* homo kick on their opponent!

  5. I respect both sports and watch both sports but I'm a boxing fan at heart.  Anderson Silva (UFC Middleweight Champ) was begging Dana White (UFC President) to fight Roy Jones Jr. in a boxing match thinking he stood a chance.

Roy Jones was all for it because he knew if he had the chance he would kill em and make a lot of money because retarded MMA fans would pay for it on PPV thinking their guy would win.  I probably would have too to see Jones get the KO.

Dana White isn't stupid, he doesn't want his fighters losing face fighting in boxing and getting whooped on and doesn't want any super skilled boxer coming to the UFC and kicking *** because that would make his sport look second class (which it is).

If a skilled boxer learned Jujitsu and how to kick effectively they would be pretty much unstoppable.

  6. I'll say less than a minute. But since this is a Boxing room and not a MMA room, I have to say that MMA is something that pleases the eye because it is indeed fighting. Boxing is not just fighting, it's a lot more than just that. It's like many people call it the Sweet Science. You can't compare boxers to MMA fighters. They are just way too different and they're great in different ways.

  7. Silva is a good boxer in the MMA world but in the boxing world ... i have my doubts. A boxer could never be productive in MMA. Boxing is a very small part of MMA. There is Aikido Boxing Brazilian JiuJitsu Capoeira Choi Kwang-Do, Muay Thai, judo, greco roman, karate, sambo.. to name a few. MMA is a whole different world than boxing. A sub par MMA fighter would easily defeat a world class boxer. Take the boxer to the mat and simply ground and pound.  And on the other hand any MMA fighter would  have a very hard time against a pro boxer in the boxing ring.  You cant really compare the two.

  8. I got one name for you to look up, he was in boxing, not a superstar boxer, not even a great contender.  His name is Jeremy Williams and he is 5-0 against the MMA fighters.

Why would these superstar boxers take a huge paycut to street fight? Superstar boxers make MILLIONS not thounsands!

  9. Oh, I'm so tired of MMA fans coming to this board extolling the virtues of their semi-homo-erotic sport.  We don't go over to the MMA boards to extoll the virtues of our hetero sport, do we?
