I don't mean until you start to see the affects as in the few weeks, I mean like for example caffeine takes about 15 minutes until you start to feel it and about an hour or 2 until it reaches peak effectiveness. SInce I'm taking Rhodiola and Eluethro (Siberian Ginseng) about when can I feel the affects of more energy? An hour? 1/2 hour? Less?

I have been taking it over 2 months, but I never really notice about when it starts to kick in as it's more subtle. I know it works though because of how I feel when I don't take it. Just want to know for curiosity's sake.

  1. It depends on the herb, just like various drugs will have impacts at different timeframes.

Most energy-boosting herbs will show effects within 15 minutes to an hour or so... you just might not notice as much of a "BOOM" from certain herbs than from caffeine, as some are more of a long-term boost (over a few hour's time). I've taken a couple energy boosters that brought me from drowsy to feeling normal (a general feeling of being awake like in the middle of the day vs being drowsy)... it's not always like a sugar rush, although some are.
