How long until i am a resident in a state so i dont have to pay out of state tuition?

I live in indiana and am going to community college but next year i am wanting to transfer to the Universiy of Central Fl in Orlando. My boyfriend is moving to Florida in November and then i am moving in with him next May.II just cant move when he does because i wont have the money. Will i still have to pay out of state tuition? And if so how long until your a legal resident. I dont understand how that all works. But he will have our house and be paying bills what can i do so i dont have to pay out of state tuition when i move there in May. And go to school in Aug. Any help?

  1. I believe you have to be a resident of the state for a year, full year and not school year,.
