How long until i get my period again?

So i had light brown discharge today, so how long until i have it again.

I assume that was your first sign of a period? After my first period I didn't have it again for over 4 months. It's very random when you're first starting out, so just discreetly carry some pads or tampons around with you

The theory is that it should happen every month around 28 days apart. (give or take a few days either way.) There are times in our lives when it is different to that pattern though. Irregularity is common - it can be 21-26 days for example or you can easily miss a month. Once the pattern is established it is still not totally reliable but you will get to know your own pattern as time goes on. Best wishes. UK
