How long until vicodin kicks in?

I took it about 20 minutes ago, and I feel a bit out of place and the music seems really real right now, and the colors look really bright and I am tired and dizzy and a bit like i'm up in the air, but when will it kill the pain? Cuz my tooth still hurts. Also are these symptoms normal?

It should usually kick in about 30 mins after taking it . . .and pain meds effect everyone differently but this sounds about right.

But don't think that its going to kill the pain entirely . . .sometimes it doesnt work like that, it dulls the pain . . .so go from there and get some sleep . . when it kicks in is usually a good time to hit the hay . . .have a good night and feel better.

make sure you took the correct dose because it sounds like your high on vicadin. but if you did take the correct does, medication effects people in different ways. it often has to do with your weight and body build. it could act very quick or take a long time.

as a nurse I can tell you that it usually works in about 30 min ,but as far as the other groovy stuff you are taking about I was glad to hear that you where taking it for tooth pain .because for a minute there I had to admit I was a little worry.My brother in law killed a pink rabbit one time when he was taking it so go to bed and let it help with your pain and maybe sleep well.Good night

EVIDENTLY IT WON'T, AND SOUNDS LIKE YOU CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE, IF YOUR PAIN IS THAT BAD SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR!
