How long until you felt comfortable in your new home?

I know it takes some time to get adjusted, but anyone have a time frame? This is only my second night here so that's probably why I can't sleep. Plus, it's the first time I have ever lived alone.

It takes about a week. Then everything becomes comforting and familiar. Because I have children I put nightlights around the house, they really help at night. (I feel comforted by them as well)

I'd bet it took me nearly a month to get used to all the new sounds, and feel for my new home, but now it's cool...just give it a bit you'll be comfy before too long! Good Luck!

you will be fine.....there is alot going on with u at the moment, after moving house..and then having to get used to the new 'night sounds'...........just relax, all will fall into place. good luck :)
