E.g, 100% run on electricity, solar powered, hydrogen etc...

I have a new car which is really economical (Toyota Aygo) and I would like my next car to be even more economical.

  1. Try the VW POLO. 60-70 MPG and I understand under $20,000. Will run Bio-diesel if/where available. Will run 100+MPH. Is comfortable for 4. Eat your heart out EV's and Hybrids.

I believe the new high-efficiency diesels will turn out to be the most cost-effective option and they are here now.

  2. Then your next "car" should be an Aptera, or perhaps a velomobile, such as the Aerorider.

  3. It will take a longer time. Cars that run on electricity, solar, etc. will not be mass produced (which will make it more available and cheaper) until there is almost no oil that oil companies can dig up.

Your car may be a good choice, other Japanese car manufacturers also produce such cars, like Honda/Acura...

    Check your local dealers.

  4. You are so Naive! theres too much cash to be made!

    The Aygo is a Toymotor!

  5. u need to rent who killed the electric car, it shows that the auto makers and gas makers won't allow anything better to happen because they would loose money

  6. I have not seen that movie but I don't think that the entire car industry and oil industry is going to be able to flip a switch and go green without seriously devistating our economy so it will take a good number of years for the transition, but it is happening and according to the theories of capitalism it will.  I would be willing to bet that your next car will be better (environmentally) than the what you have now...
