How long was your house on the market before it sold?

In today's market and that is the key look for 9-18 months as an average depending upon where you live

ummm I think it was about 6 months

We just bought our first house and it was on the market for almost a year I think. It was built for a person, but for some reason, they couldn't close on it, so it sat empty. No idea why it was never listed on any MLS sites *shrugs*

But we were lucky enough to be looking in the same neighborhood at a different house, and the realtor that had to open the door for us (and our own realtor) told us about some other homes, including that one, and well... we'll be closing on it on Friday :D

First house in 1991 - 3 days.  Second house in 2001 - 9 months.  Sister selling to move out of state right now - 3 months so far.
