I forgot I had to test for probation, and I had a 1 wine cooler about 2 1/2 hours before I tested.

  1. Well, depending on the type of probation which may influence the type of test it could go either way.  If you are on a complete abstinence program then there are testing methods out there that test for "etg".  It actually looks for a remnant of alcohol metabolization.  As with most common tests, a typical drink will be metabolized in an hour. A little longer if you've had food but this etg test detects alcohol well after consumption.  Up to 80 hours for a single drink.  Google "etg" and see what's out there. It is a relatively expensive test by comparison to the test that looks for alcohol itself.  Most people utilizing this test are involved in some type of complete abstinance program.  Good luck

  2. The smart thing to have done would be to not drink. If you're being tested for drugs, which alcohol has always been lumped into that category, then you shouldn't be so stupid as to do drugs or drink.

Next time around, you can be smarter than they are. Simply don't drink until you're off of probation.

  3. what exactly is a syster?

  4. You should get in under the wire on that one. The rule is typically one drink takes one hour to leave the system.

  5. Since when is alcohol a drug? I dont get it :/
