  1. I believe two years.....but it could be different according to a particular state.

  2. could be next month.....might be never again. There is no way of telling

  3. I don't know you or your reasons for hardship to be excused from jury duty, but I would say you need to get the paper work on file so you aren't ever called upon again.

The last time I was called for jury duty, waited the better part of the day, then had to go back the next day for selection of the jury. which lasted a total of 45 minutes, I wasn't selected. The point I want to make is there were a total of 15 people that didn't understand or have the ability to communicate, that were excused, that was a hardship to everyone that had to be there almost two days and not get any payment for parking or time spent waiting to be selected, but that's the system.

Did I hear or read somewhere that everyone to become a US citizen had to understand the English Language or was that a dream about how the foreigners get around doing what is expected of them.

  4. Theoretically names are supposed to be drawn at random for jury duty. You may be called next week or not for another 10 years. Its all the "luck of the draw". If you were to get called again in the very near future, you can use your original hardship case as a reason why you cant serve on a jury again.
