How long will Motrin(The Orange flavored pills) last before it wares off?

Ok, so I have swimmer's ear, which I took Motrin for. My question is, how long will it keep the pain away? Thanks! =)

  1. They say 4-6 hours, but mine usually wear off in 3-4 hours.
