Currently, England have won 55 tests to South Africa's 28. Of course, a lot of those England wins were pre-WWII. Hey, but they all count. I'd say, possibly, 100 years.

  1. another 10 yrs

  2. Dont worry now Pietersen came as captain now its impossible to beat England in test as well as one day matches. Pietersen is worlds best player he can make England team even No.1 team in the world. He proved himself in last test at Oval as player and as captain, without his first innings century England cannot win that match.

  3. At the rate South Africa is going I will say inside 30 years. Also depends how KP does. But right now if they were to play 30 test matches back to back, South Africa will catch up. Like you said in the beginning, England's wins were mostly a long time ago.

  4. nobody knows.........................

  5. Who cares.West Indies has better records against all teams like England and India. But does that mean they are better ?You should judge teams on basis of 10 years and at present,South Africa is better than England.Although England has great opportunity because KP has potential to be better captain than his predecessor Vaughan.

  6. No, never will. Now KP is in charge!

  7. i think in 70 years
