How long will a 95' Camero last in miles?

it has 144000 miles for 3000 dollars is this good?

what sort of maintenance is typical?

  1. don't pay that kinda money for that car!  typically chevy cars starts having serious problems around 100k.  some even way before.  pass on that car especially for that kinda money.  


  2. 2000 is ACV and if you do proper maintenance which is in manual it could last another 50k.V* will last a lot longer though.

  3. What engine?  V8 will last longer and hold up better.

    Has the oil been changed EVERY 3000 miles

    What transmission?

    Has the transmission fluid been changed regularly?

    Has the rearend been serviced (fliuds changed and kept full)

    Has the axle bearings been serviced?

    When's the last time the water pump has been replaced?

    When's the last time the timing belt and gears were changed?

    If all this has been done correctly, then 200k or more miles is a reasonable expectation.  If not..... it's anyones guess

    If it burns oil then all bets are off.

    Whats the engine compression in all cylinders?  Are they equal?

    Does the radiator look clean and the fluid look good?

    Has all the fittings been regularly greased?
