How long will a bruise on top of a vein on my palm from spiking and passing at volleyball hurt?

depends on how deep the bruise is, how hard you hit the ball and how often.  if it's a surface bruise, probably no longer than a normal bruise, a couple of weeks to a month.  if it's a deep bruise, it could last several months or even more than a year.
