  1. Depends on the owner's type of riding and maintenance.

  2. its a honda, if maintainence is done, will never die. You will out grow it before it dies unless in an accident. I know of a CBR900RR (honda) that had over 300,000 miles one it with 2 trips around the world, still running. and another honda that was riden for a season before owner realized it was dry on oil all summer( he never summerized his bike from winter). Motor is still strong. Something else to think about, of all the old school 3 wheelers out there how many do you see still running, that are not hondas. just food for thought.

  3. forever if you take care of it. Cheap to maintain.

  4. The honda rebel is known for the abuse its willing to take, and still keep on going.   I sold an 85 '250 a year or so ago that I learned to ride on, and I was easily the 3-4th owner.... she still had plenty of life left!

You can also ask on the rebel forums... http://www.rebel250.com

  5. Take good care of it and you can hand it down to your kids, just like any other motor vehicle.

How long they last is partly up to the manufacturer - starting with a Honda product is very good for a motorcycle - and the rest is up to the owner.

Honda has been building the Rebel 250 with virtually no changes for about 20 years now; I'd guess they and the customers are pretty satisfied with the design and engineering.

  6. forever ,,,,,,as long as its maintained properly and parts are available for it

  7. maintenance is the key word. If taken care of and maintained it will last quite awhile.

  8. It is like any motor  you have to take care of it and really take care of it, if it is a rebel. They are old out of date air cooled motors.
