How long will a state keep a warrant active,is there a statute of limitations?

about 7 years ago i found myself in a little trouble in mo.(a bad check). is there a statute of limitations for warrants, ive always heard there was for everything except murder.

  1. If you were never charged, there is a statute of limitation. It varies from state to state.

    However, if you were charged in a warrant was issued for your arrest, there is no statute of limitation. It does not expire until you are either picked up by the law or you decide to turn yourself in.
