How long will gas and diesel prices continue to hike?

My local station has risen fuel prices by 10 cents /gal. for five consecutive days. This is insane. Regular costs $4.61!

where in the U.S. are you.. we are hampton roads VA and we are 3.80.. my friend in belfair WA 4.25.. my folks in orlando FL at 3.95

California taxes gas heavier than other states and further requires it to go through a more expensive refining process than any other state for "enviromental" reasons. This is something the citizens of California have done to themselves by voting for it. Law of unintended consequences....

As for any comparisions between the UK and US. liters are different than gallons, 1 Pound is about  $2. That's just something to keep in mind.

As China and India expand and consume large quantities of fuel, demand soars. Also, we haven't built a new refinery in the US in about 20 years. Until we address these issues, you can expect to pay about $5/gallon in the US soon. In California, you can expect $6/gallon soon.

in uk its like £1.23 per litre thats nothing compared to us but you but yea it'll keep going up till we find alot more fuel or a cheaper source of fuel for our cars
