  1. It took me about 4 months to play good,

  2. It took me 1 year to get really ******* awesome

But I was taught by my cuzzin

    He is a guitar master

And the trick is if you wanna be really good and amaze your friend's

You have to start off learning the hard s hit first

The easy songs won't take you anywhere trust me

Learn the hardest songs, and you will dazzle yourself even I did

I am a guitarist 5 yrs and am considered the devil on guitar in my town

Electric Guitar + Guitar Effects are waaayyy better and funner than an acoustic guitar

I practice guitar about 1 hour a day now

When I was younger and had no job I would practice all day honing my skillz

  3. just practice a lot!!

the more you practice, the faster you will pick it up!

btw i am 16 and have been playing for 4 years :)

  4. took me 3-6 months and im pretty okay

  5. Depends on you: how dedicated you are and how much time are you willing to give up to learn.

  6. I think that it depends on the person i am younger than you and have the same gutair but i have not learned.

Again it depends on if you are dedicated to it if you will give your time.

    The person you are!!!

  7. Like punk said, it really depends on how much you want to learn. To master the guitar, years. Just the bare essentials, couple of months. Hope this helped.

  8. probably about a year or two to be able to play anything but then again ive played for 7 yrs.

  9. It all depends on tallent, time spent playing and your dedication.  I have been playing for 12 years and there is always a new trick to learn.  As with any art... there is always something new to learn... music grows and evolves with the rest of us... keeping up is the hard part.  Good luck!

  10. it took me 6 mths to learn the notes, ditto all details as you but i started at 13. for learning notes it took me 5 mths. and for learning the basic chords (3 or more notes played together) approx. 1 mth.

you practice you learn- i dint practice for months together but if you practice regularly then you should learn faster.

and yo ucan also learn songs related to your curriculum as well.

    all the best!

  11. Depends on you... If you already play another instrument

and practise a lot.. first it will be so boring and depressing but after you can move your fingers and understand the tones.. you will feel more happy

    I LOVE GUITARSSSS

  12. I am 15 and heave been going to guitar lessons once a week for the past 3 years, and i am STILL learning :)

My father plays the acoustic guitar as well, he has played for about 30 years and he is still learning new chords everyday, like me.

You really cannot learn everything there is to know about playing the acoustic guitar.

But I think I understand what you are saying...how long until you are fairly good? Well. It took me about 10-12 months.

  13. well i am 13  and i bought an acoustic myself if you want to be really good at it you will need to do that for a few years . if you wnt to be so so you need to do it for about 1 year hope i helped

  14. To get good..... prolly about a year, My dads a musician and he had me go to guitar lessons 3 times a week. It took me about a month to be ok but to be able to jam without music in front of you and just let the music come to you about a year or more
