How long will it be before hybrid cars are the norm?

*  We need to improve public transport

*  We need to get people walking, skating, cycling etc instead of driving

*  We need alternative fuels

*  We need electric cars

*  We need the government to offer incentives to people to buy hybrid cars

A long time. Hybrid cars are very expensive and not fast or big so they are inconvenient for a lot of people.
