How long will it get to process the application for skilled sponsored visa to Australia forum (1276)?

Some people have taken a year or more from applying to getting the Visa.

However, on example of expected time given is quoted on the VIC gov website, which says:

"Once you have completed and successful lodged your Victorian Government’s Skilled –Sponsored visa sponsorship form, the standard processing time is up to eight weeks "

This refers to using the Skilled – Sponsored (subclass 176 or 886) visa application (Form 1276).
