Snooker is a great game. It's strategies can be more complicated than chess. So, to answer your question, practice for hours a day and always try the hardest shot possible. Who knows, depending on how good you are at strategy, only a few years. good luck and happy shooting.

I don't play snooker, I wish that I could but you just don't find snooker tables where I'm from so I grew up playing 8 and 9 ball.  I have been playing competitive pool for about 10 years now on the state and national level, and if there is 1 thing I know about pool its that you can always learn new things.  You can become a master, but to actually master the game I don't think is possible.  Pros practice 8-10 hours a day and still make mistakes.  It is a great game though, and I wish you the best of luck.  Keep rackn em up!

master, or become decent at? mastery is most likely impossible, because there are always people innovating to figure out how this or that can be done, but you would have to spend the better part of your life concentrating on becoming better to feasably "master" it

Billiards is rich people game. Its not real made to master it. Learn to  execute each play with precision like a robot. That's 99 percent of the game. The only way to make money is when you have my skills and abilities is to make a movie. I got out of the hustling business before someone killed me. I would suggest that you think about that. Taking peoples hard earned money like that will get you killed. It got to the point that I  would have to tell people before we play for money that I'm not the best in the world but I'm surly not the worst. I used to eat , sleep and go to the bathroom with my  cue stick that how dedicatited I used to be to the game.
