How long will it take for a parcel from Hong Kong to Australia ?

How long will it take for a parcel weighing no heavier than 500 grams from Hong Kong using Registered Air Mail to arrive in Sydney, Australia ? It was posted about 2pm this afternoon, and I was hoping to receive it in the next 3 days for the weekend.

i think it takes about a weeek but it is possible for you to get in 2-3 days.

The usual is to allow 5 working days. You might be lucky and get it quicker, but I wouldn't bank on it.

I have recently bought 3 items from Hong Kong ( i also live in australia).

The first item came in 6 days and the other 2 came in 2 weeks.

I guess it depends when the seller posts these items but i generally get the idea that the Hong Kong postal service is pretty slow.
