How long will it take for a pool table to warp?

i want to buy a pool table but i don't want it to last just for a little bit. i have 2 friends and all their pool tables have warped and they both have finished basements. i have a unfinished basement but i want to put a pool table made of wood down there. will it warp? how long will it take untill it warps?

watch the moisture content of all places where you have a table whether  cheap or not  all wood products can warp in the right conditions  get a good table and then a de-humidifier and keeping it running when it is even a bit damp out and you shod never have a problem  three piece think pro quality slate is a big help and plays much better than cheap stuff  a table is just like a car if you get what you pay for and you buy a good one the repair on it should be minimal   good luck and happy shooting

table dont warp unless they have a simulated slate top ...... get a decent table with at least 7/8 three piece slate  and you will have no problems ......your friends must have boughten cheap tables .......
