How long will it take for a tram from Piccadilly gardens to get to Harbour City?

I need to get to Salford Quays (Lowry theatre) by 19.00 for the show in the evening. I know the trams come every 12 minutes. So the maximum waiting time is 12 minutes. But how long will it take for a tram from Piccadilly gardens to get to Harbour City (Lowry) ?

best bet is to get the tram at around 1800, its only about a 10 - 15 minute journey but its best to allow for delays and its about a 10 minute walk to the Lowry from the station

is timetabled to take 17 minutes...

- plus a 7 minute walk to the theatre.

Plus if you're arriving by train you'll need to make your way from the station to Piccadilly Gardens - down the ramp, I guess (last time I was there - there were no trams!)
