How long will it take for me to get 20/20 vision?

i currently have 20/20 vision in my right eye and 20/30 in my left eye. i wear my glasses for about an hour a day. how long will it take for my left eye to be corrected?

  1. Glasses only correct the problem while you are wearing them.  When you take them off, the problem still exists.  There is not a way to restore it short of refractive surgery and even that isn't permanent.


  2. Were you asked to wear your glasses only for one hour? You might have to consult your optometrist/ophthalmologist and ask them the reason for decreased vision in your left eye. For most cases, glasses can only correct refractive errors. I would suggest you to contact your eye specialist to see what can be done

  3. it wont. Glasses temporarily correct refractive errors, but they wont change the shape of your corneas!

  4. I wish I could tell you that glasses will improve your vision overall, but they only improve it when you are wearing them.  My right eye has normal 20/20 vision too.  My left eye is 20/50.  I was 20/30 for a while and did not correct it until it reached 20/50.
