How long will it take for my Priority Mail package to come from Alaska?

I have a package that was sent USPS Priority Mail from Alaska. Its supposed to be delivered to California. usps.com says it usually takes 3 days. Today is the 3rd day and no package. How long does it usually take and is it longer because its coming from Alaska?

Just as long as any other package.  My hubby works for USPS and he says it's a waste of money to pay for expedited shipping.  They all get there the same rate.

priority is priority, should only take 3 days regardless of where you are.  only thing that might prevent the 3 day is if the plane with the mail couldn't take off at the right time.

That's BUSINESS days.  Weekends don't count.  If it was mailed Friday, three days is tomorrow, but if it was mailed in the afternoon, add another day.
