you should give me mor info ie, how pale u r what type of tan lotion u use what spf it has and how sunny it is where u tan, make sure you use sun screen or else you won't tan you'll burn

my skin tans really fast, so if i tan for 2 hours a day for a week, i get really tan. but some people i know tan for much longer and don't really get much darker. so it really depends on what kind of skin you have.
