  1. Forever as the district line does not go to wembly center.

The quickest route seems to about 26 minutes, see here

Using only the underground 45 minutes to an hour

  2. On http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk it says that it could take 1 hour and 9 minutes by using the underground but the quickest time it gives using the underground is 47min (not including waiting for next trains which shouldn't be long, 2 - 4min).

The shortest route obviously starts at Wembley Central and will need you to go southbound on the Bakerloo Line (Brown). Once you get to Paddington (21min) you will need to change on to the District Line (Green) southbound to Earl's Court (10min) then change train and go Westbound again on the District Line (Green) to your destination Kew Gardens (16min).

For a shorter journey you will need to get the underground obviously form Wembley Central and go southbound on the short journey to Willesden Junction. Once there you will need to get on the Overground (White with Orange line) towards Richmond and with one stop before Richmond you will arrive at Kew Gardens. This is an easier and quicker journey which will take you a minimum of 27min and a maximum of 35min depending on the time you leave from as overground trains are not as frequent as underground trains especially further out of London

    Good Luck And Have Fun!!!!
