How long will it take me to come through customs at heathrow airport?

Like most airports it just depends how busy they are.

I have done it about 10 times and never had it take longer then 1 hour, even during busy times. The shortest was about 10 mins. Your average should be 20-30 mins in my opinion.

i wouldnt get your hopes up to getting out wuickly because wiff 60million people using the international sector it would take a while, if yuor luck maybe 20 minutes but i suggest re routing to gatwick airport if you have a choice of which airport to land in

It depends where you are coming from, It doesn't normally take more than 15 minutes.

I live in the states, and have lots of family in england and Ireland. I know heathrow airport very well. It honestly depends on your luck. The best time i have ever made was 10 minutes, and the worst 2 hours. Another thing to consider is when your flying, week-ends, and public holidays will be busier.
