How long will it take my dead sidekick 3 to charge?

i got a sidekick 3 from a friend and she said it was dead so i got a charger and started charging it around 1:30 pm and saw an orange light on the side of the fone and a weird symbol in the middle of the screen....however i have off and on every few hours un plug the charger and press the power button and nothing will happen..... i just tried it again a few minutes ago and now its 7pm is it broken??? i know something is working because of the symbol in the middle of the screen and the orange light

try a new charger, if that doesnt work, try a new battery.

Hmmm.... try keeping it plugged in and holding the ON button down for 10 to 20 seconds. The ON button is usually the END button for a call or the RED button on most fones, highly doubting its red on the sidekick. If that doesnt work.... hmmmm.......

go to the phones or companys website and look for what the symbol or icon means. if you can't get the info i bet it means that your battery wont hold a charge. You can call the company and make them help you with it. call tech support.

just keep charging it...than if it doesnt work, call the company and kick the SHlT our of your friend lol
