How long will it take to break in Jackson women's freestyle skates?

Question

I have jackson classiques, but within 2 weeks I am getting womens freestyles. how long will it take to fully and comfortably break in these skates?

It wasn't hard to break in my classiques, because before I had classiques I had a similar pair to the classique. But this is a whole different skate that I am getting... so I have no clue

PS- I got so many blisters last time. Any tips on preventing blisters and bruises? thanks a ton!

It really depends on how long you skate a week and what not and if you wear them around the house. I have Jackson's and I skate about 5 days a week and 3 hours each day and also I wore mine around the house and it took me about 4 weeks so...not sure if that helps or not, but i hope it did.

Also to prevent blisters I would do either bunga pads, but if you want to save some money makeup sponges work just as well.

It really depends. For some people, it might take only a few days, others, weeks. But to quicken the breaking in process, you can put on your new boots (with blade guards on your blades) and walk around your house with them on. And to prevent blisters/bruises, wear an ankle sleeves like this one: http://www.usaskates.com/figureaccessori...  when i got new skates, this really helped me.

It would only take about 3-4 times of skating for about 4 hours total. Bunga Pads or SiloPads will help prevent blisters, I swear by them. You can buy them at rainbosports or any other skating website store. They are a little pricey, but they come in a long tube that you trim to the desired length and wear them around your ankle or even the ball of your foot. Also Freestyle skates are heat-moldable, so if you are buying them from a skate dealer, then find out if he can mold them for you if they are really uncomfortable.
