  1. Hi Tobey,

Go get this workout manual immediately:

    http://www.how2gainmuscle.com

it is designed for hardgainers and you can expect to gain 40 pounds in about 6 months or less, depends on how well you stick to the program.

I got great results with it. You should definitely check it out!

    good luck

  2. you can find out by yourself

weigh yourself on a monday morning before you've eaten anything and record the weight. then in a week repeat minus the first from the second. the  weight you then have if it is below 2pounds then it will most likely be muscle providing you don't eat c**p. anything higher and the extra will probably be fat . this is the only way to find out

i personally as a really good gainer have yet to gain that amount of muscle.

with the help of  a weight gainer a really good gainer would be able to do it in a month just.

but it depends on your frame and body type

also don't worry about weight people won't see the weight of your muscle they'll see the size and strength of it so that is what you should look at mostly

  3. Hey

Vince did it in 6 months.

I know this website with some good muscle building articles from fitness trainers.  it's http://fitness4u.sitesled.com  THere is a insane muscle gain report on the right column you can download for free.  I actually bought the no nonsense muscle book that's on the bottom left column.  It really gave me all the info I needed to know to gain the muscle.  This guy is really motivational and knows his stuff.  It's got dvd's included too so you can see how to do the workouts.  He use to be skinny too.  Read his page.  It's alot cheaper then buying a personal trainer.

  4. People hate this answer but here it is...

To gain muscle mass you need to take in 1 gram of protein for every pound of body weight daily.  After your weight training feed those muscles protein, get a good shake and mix it with water, it will help you gain muscle mass.  You also have to be on a nutrition plan.  I wouldn't put anything into my body that is packaged, processed, canned, also no fast food, no soft drinks, no junk period.  I don't know how tall you are or what you weigh now so I can't really say if 40 will happen.  When you are weight training you really have to up the weight by 5 to 10 pounds per set on all sets of any exercise to get stronger and gain mass.  Good Luck!

  5. You may never gain 40 pounds of muscle,it's all in genetics and steroids.
